8 More Weeks!

It's been a loooong time since I've posted anything. Nothing much has changed except you move more and it looks like i'm smuggling a basketball. I'm going to start off with my week by week pictures. :)

These next pictures come from Christmas over at your Great Grandparents house.
Last Christmas Eve of just us two.

Nick got me the collection of Harry Potter books.
I hope you like reading these when you're older.

This is the suprise gift I got Nick. He enjoyed it very much.

Left to right: Tatiana (cousin), Aunt Giselle, Uncle Nick, Grandma
(or different name, I don't know what she wants to be called)

Christmas day over at your Uncle Ty and Aunt Jamie's house.

Then came New Year's! It was a pirate theme over in KC at Beth and Dan's house.

Then a week before my twenty seventh birthday, I got a small cut on my upper lip. I thought it was a fever blister, but it did something i've never dealt with before.

My lip got huge! It was due to my weakened immune system. That happens when you're pregnant. Took some ointment, and it's all better now. Just looks like a small cut.

Moving on to my birthday! We had a game night (Friday), and had lots of desserts! The next night was dinner at my parent's house. I didn't take a picture of the AMAZING cheeseburgers because I ate them too fast, but here is a picture of the rest of the food.

And some pictures of your family.

We noticed Jaxon smiles when he sees a flash, and then looses said smile when your done taking the picture. It was hilarious to watch. Also, Katie got some icing on her face from eating one of the cupcakes.

Hopefully Violet lives long enough for you to remember her. She is a wild, free spirited, adventurous rabbit. We feel if she dies doing something crazy, she was happy. She likes to hop in our laps, sit on our shoulders, get into the trash cans, lick the floor like a dog, tries to eat what we eat, hops on the bed and licks your dad's pillow, and licks his hair, and loves being held tight.

I did have a dream last night (1/20/15) that while I was looking at my stomach, you started to move around. Then you pushed your face against my stomach and I could see an outline of it. Every feature of a face (eyes, nose, eyebrows, eyelashes, mouth, chin, and hair). I was really excited and was screaming that I could see your face that well. Very cute baby (which I know you'll be!) Only 8 more weeks to go and then we will get to know what you'll finally look like and how you'll grow more definite features as you get bigger.

The last bit of this long post will be from your dad (cause I asked him to add a little something about his observations during my pregnancy with you.)  Also, this is the first thing we bought for you! Isn't it cuuuuuuttttteeeee!?!?!?

Hi. This is your dad. Your mom wants me to write about how she does weird things. To be honest, she always does weird things. So do I. She doesn't like it when I tell her something embarrassing. When I tell her something like that, she makes this cross between a grimace and a turtle face at me. It makes me feel weird. Speaking of weird, your mom once did the laundry at 2 a.m. TWO! A! M! Then we found out you were on the way and it all made sense...sense...since then she has become increasingly "nesty". That is a term I may or may not have made up to describe how your mom does things that don't make any practical sense to me, but makes sense to her. For instance, she washed your clothes months ago from when I wrote this. You won't even be here for another two months! She will probably wash all of them again before you arrive. She is also terrified that the squirrels will get into your stuff in the closet (which they have). I'm terrified of the squirrels, too. Your mom is reading this over my shoulder and commenting. She will be washing your clothes any time now. Also, the squirrels have pooped on many of your items and your mom will wash those as well. Now that I have time to think about things a bit more, it is probably good she is around to do weird things. If it were me I would probably try to release you into the wild.

And as I read the last bit, I asked him why he would do that and he laughed saying I don't know. I thought that was a good way to wrap that up. And that is your father in a nut shell. I love him very much!

Last but not least, we don't have a name figure out for you. We do have 4-5 names, but at this point, we don't know what it will be yet. We want to see you and get a feel for it. Here is what we have.
Bradley Isaac
Julian David
Samuel Tyler
Jeffery Andrew
and maybe Isaac Xavier

Soooo, until the next post (prolly baby showers!), I love you!!!!
